LINGO DANCETHEATER BRAND IDENTITY

Lingo Dancetheater is an inspired group of contemporary artists, athletes, actors, brave hearts, lunatics…and yes, dancers. They are drawn to the circumstances that provide common ground, inspire surprising connections and shift the entry point of how the public interfaces with dance. They seek platforms for work outside the limitations of proscenium-based performance, such as art “events” including food, drink, gathering and dancing, museum installations and one on one encounters in urban, public settings.

In order to set them apart from the usual contemporary dance company ‘look’, we focused on the companies unusual and striking use of props, music and lighting in the creation of their logo, identity, press kit and overall brand.

Lingo's online experience complements the group’s unique style of performance where a dance show spills out into the audience merging music, props, lighting, food & drink to where it all becomes one and the audience becomes part of the show. In this flash site, the performers become the stage itself and visitors traveling along the choppy and oddly changing figure are bombarded with a wide-array of colorful surprises.
