We created authentic settings with normal, everyday people in very candid moments which connected directly to specific books from GU.

GRAEFE UNd UNZEr EDITION collector’s album
For a new series of books from very unique, first time authors, Graefe und Unzer needed an innovative way to reach this new target group.
The idea was to create a catalog which grows with each new book title published. For each title, a comprehensive work of art is created which will be kept in a collector’s portfolio, in the form of an oversized book.

GIG POSTERS at the 2008 frankfurt book fair
To help promote the new GU Edition title “Is This Book Contagious?” from author Marion Grillparzer, one of Germany’s top comedians, Cordula Stratmann, was enlisted to do readings for fair goers.
To help attract attention in an equally fitting manner, we designed A1 sized gig posters for three different acts:
- Virus on Tour
- Bazille (bacteria) Live
- Grippe (flu) Back Again.
Each were hand drawn with hand applied labels directing folks to reading times and locations.
